That's only if you can assume gas prices won't be rising for the next year or so. As gas prices start to rise, you'll be making up the difference even faster. It would still probably take about a year or so. I also don't know too many scooters that get 100 mpg. 70 or so is more like it unless you get a DiTech Aprilia, but those tend to cost more.

Can't you simply figure out what you spend on gas now, subtract what you would pay for gas to cover the same miles at the better MPG and then divide the cost of the bike by the difference or whatever?

hardly saves money, just wastes your time that you could otherwise spend working - unless you work at a really ****ty paying job i dont see how it would be a net savings.

well cars can go on free ways and expressways.
