I've had a compustar 2wss-as for quite some time after ditching a viper 791xv and have been pleased as punch. The new clifford/viper/directed 1 mile alarm is same old stuff with new transceivers. Same screen, same butt clenching if you remote start, and shotty reception. The computar has given me zero problems. The remote start is painless, you let it act as turbo timer and lock the doors, that way it knows the car isn't in gear, otherwise it will not try to start the car.The range is insane, and the remote is very nice looking.
