Class Action Law Suit Against: JIffy Lube

Sorry for posting this here, but this get the most traffic.

Dear I-club members,

This past January, I took my girlfriends car to Jiffy Lube here in Santa Barbara (yes I know first mistake). Well, going for a routine oil change, they broke the thermostat housing (yeah go figure Jiffy Lube right?), well they went ahead and replace it and I told them that the car was overheating slightly. Thinking that they fixed it, we drove the car and finally the heater didn’t work, so me being the knowledgeable guy that I am, I had a feeling that Jiffy Lube didn’t bleed the radiator system correctly. So I took it back, and he said ok I’ll send you to a specialist to fix it. So, went ahead and fixed it brought him the bill, and he only wanted to pay for the coolant that was replace. Basically, when the initially “fixed it”, they put in a higher temperature Thermostat, which wasn’t engaging the thermostat to initiate the fan and so on. Also, I met another gentleman that had a similar situation; they put crack in his oil pan and refused to pay. So, we emailed as many people as we could, with similar problems. Now I am here to tell you we are trying to organize a class action law suit against Jiffy Lube Corp. Apparently this happens more then it should and not many people have resolved any of their problems.

The Grounds for a Class Action Law Suit:

- People who had similar situations where they were not paid at the fault of Jiffy Lube
- Went through the process of dealing with the Corporate Office
- Has not filed a small claims yet
- Basically was wronged by Jiffy Lube, and went Justice

I am calling out all members, and those who they know, please I really feel I have wronged and all though the amount is little, I feel the principle of the matter is more important now. Who ever has experience something similar to come forth and band together. Please email me with your experience and possible telephone number, if you want to go forth with a claim.

I am very serious about this and we have a lawyer lined up who is willing to go forth with this.

My email: nic3krnnamja83@aol.com or brandonlee1983@gmail.com

Please, this may be a long process but this is justice for all victims.

Thanks for Your Time,

Brandon Lee

edit: any mods if this is ok to sticky please help

why not just file a small claim law suit?

Much easier and you probably will win.

I havent had any bad experiences with them, fortuneatly......but then again I dont take my cars to them either.....I just wanted to say good luck and I hope you guys get those b@stards....I have had an experiece similar to this with Big-O Tires, and even though the actual cost wasnt all that much....it was a MAJOR PITA and should have never happened in the first place. I will talk to some of the people that I know personally and see if I can find any others to help you out with your claim.

thanks Ted, I am really taking this to the TOP!!! and just so people know and maybe get them more motivated, but I dont want this to be the major intention: Class Action LAw suits are based on a people banding together to form a group with similar problems to sue a company. Now me and a couple of others being the ones who start this will settle an amount of million if won. Now me and other three will get the majoirty of the settlement along with our lawyer (of course) but those involved and participate will split the rest. Could result in couple thousand dollar pay out

This isn't the Jiffy Lube in Goleta near the Taco Bell on the way to the Airport? I took my old Corolla there once or twice (I lived right behind the TB). I never had a big problem, but I told them not to touch anything more then the oil and perhaps I just got lucky.

I have a friend that works for The Beacon down there and still has some ties with the UCSB Daily Nexus. I don't know what he can do (if anything at all), but I can try and contact him to see whats up.

My family is in the process of suing Jiffy Lube of Santa Barbra over a not-tightened oilfilter that cost my sister a BMW 2002 Tii engine.
I wonder if its the same Jiffy Lube.
email me for details
