My guess is that he saw you coming and deciced it was not worth his gas to show you what's what. Hell you did not even bring a knife to a gun fight on that one...

so the camaro was ahead of you before the S-curve, and ahead of you after the S-curve? who got pwn3d here???/?/

as for having another "run in", it only counts if the other driver participates.
