CHP is working the laser with caltrans northbound. Saw a white bugeye & red wagon pulled.
They were calling for more chase and write motor units from other beats when I was coming down the sunol grade.
The black and white is off to the right sholder in the tree area. They were hitting NB taffic but my system picked it up going southbound 1/2 mile out from where I saw the NB unit. I do not think they are working SB as I would have heard them and then seen them.
Just be careful going through there. I know none of us speed but we all like to go 5-8 over once in a bit. That will get you nailed today there. I was listening.

Last time CHP pulled me over on 580/680 interchange, they claimed they were using LiDar. They were lying, they hadn't beamed me, hence why I got no ticket. As proof, my Valentine1 didn't peep until I passed another car already pulled over between the interchange & 680N/Alcosta exit.
You can have radar detector in California, just dont mount it to the windshield. Mine is dash mounted, officer looked dead @ it with flashlight and said nada in protest. Everyone should have one; if nothing else as a bit of an early warning about officer positions, let alone to ensure your speed is legal/you don't standout from the pack as you go by the unit.

^^ You should check my car out sometime.... lol
But really I only use my detector as a confirmed kill against me.
Dash mount stuff is the shizzy extends range too.
I have other tools for other jobs.
