CHP to enforce speed limits on Hwy 49, Wednesday
From Sacramento Bee: "The California Highway Patrol will continue its "zero tolerance" program against speeding motorists in Placer County by canvassing Highway 49 on Wednesday.
Next Wednesday, the CHP will have a zero tolerance day on Interstate 80 from the Pacific Ocean to the Nevada border."

heh, they already started tonight. On my way home from work this evening, I saw at least 3 units pulled over with unlucky speeders, as well as another 2 roaming in both directions.
Day off for me tomorrow, I'm staying home ^^

If you guys want a seriously hardcore roadrally style course, spain style, take 193 through georgetown, then a slight left on traverse creek falls - right on bear creek road by the creepy abandoned house. Once you get past the couple of shanties it opens up into an absolutley crazy single lane road that winds through the woods. I used to take my old POS honda civic back there and bomb around, and jump it over the erosion-breaks that they for some reason paved over. No cops, and no traffic.

Do those roads reside in Placer Co.? If so, I do believe you are correct.
