Does that include sipping a drink? I personally want to minimize distractions when I'm driving, but I do allow myself some soda, music, and/or chats with passenger/s. I intentionally avoid my phone when I'm driving, unless it's a long drive, where I let my garmin do blue tooth.

I will choke down some food once in a while behind the wheel...but there is a far cry between shoving a few chips in your mouth, and talking to someone on the phone.

I was, it was a private parking lot and the closest car was at least 300+ feet away, and it was just a quick 180 handbrake into a parking spot at like 10mph or even less, it's just that the cop happened to see me do it.

I'd like flatline or someone to chime in here, I don't remember what the law is...

Why not move to Texas?

Just curious, I mean no offense. I dislike some of the politics of this state, but it's positives outweigh the negatives for me. You?

BTW, I wont allow anyone to eat in my car, 100% of the time, absolutely not, and that applies to me. No matter how hungry I am. I never answer my phone unless it's an emergency, then I use a hands free set, but even then, f' all that.

I would move in a heartbeat, if I could get my partner to want to move. However he loves CA, and I love him, and we own a house together so *shrugs* im stuck in this liberal ****hole. (I should point out its the politics/most the people of this state I hate)

I purchased a higher-end TomTom because it had bluetooth speakerphone capability...and I ended up returning it because it was f-ing useless in my car at anything above 30mph. Do you find that you're able to use your Garmin's bluetooth speakerphone effectively at highway speeds?

Hmm, I'd like to see the look on your face when there is a reply

As for the chp, on my way to Novato today I actually didn't see as much as I usually do how ever on the way back there was one that mugged me but never came after me. I'm guessing he was looking at my tint?
