“zero tolerance” .... call it what you want

bottom line is the chp department has become nothing more then a extended branch of California’s tax revenue service.

i love reading the “Safety and Service” slogan on the side of the car tho... cracks a smile in me every time. i think it should read, "fill the deficit one stop at a time"

CHP not actually the IRS...they're too stupid for that, otherwise everyone would get away with tax evasion.

CHP are just the monkeys that the IRS hired...they get an extra banana for every ticket.

no, on the news they call it their zero tolerance policy, hence, 1mph over the limit....

that then is the increased revenue

at a stop light some cop chilled in my blind spot...and then moved up to the line. I dont know if he forgot he could move up two car spaces to the limit line, or if he just wanted to check out my STOCK exhaust :-D

yeh no ****... ill tell you what tho go to any other state and they actually do pull over and give you a hand, first time in NV i could beleive my eyes when i drove by and saw a nhp officer helping someone change a tire

but in cali. if he pulls over it might be to cite you for pulling over in a no parking zone...

agreed, a few times I was stuck on the side of the road, cops drive by without even looking(in fact, I think the bastards sped up to get away faster). As much as I would like to cut them a break because they do deal with some serious stress sometimes, but no excuse for abusing their powers...such as running reds with their sirens because they didn't feel like waiting anymore, rolling through stop signs like no one's business.

yup... id love to cut them some slack to but eh, city cops deal with WAY more crap per day then the average chp officer... just responding to a house alarm call is more dangerous then what the chp does in a day.

*sigh*
