Cheap place to have wheels painted/repaired?

I have some RS wheels I would like painted and curb rash repaired with bondo/aluminox/etc. I don't care about a professional job, I want a cheap job that just gets the job done. I don't want to spend more than $100 or so. I don't care if it's not perfect.

Anyplace like this?

I was contemplating hiring a dude hanging around home depot to clean up my wheels (the sanding part).

I wonder of Ballz can do it. Drop Brian a PM and see what he can do for you.

i will sandblast them for $20 all 4. Assuming they are unpainted!? Just bring'em over

I have a nice fine glass bead in the blaster, so its not aggressive and wont pit the wheels as much.

The wheels are still stock silver. If you sand blast them, do I still have to sand them?

Paint is like $100. I tried to get a can of paint for my GunMetal wheels, $94.

You could always use Duplicolor, but I don't think you will get the result you want.

no, if you want, but the blast doesnt seem to do much to the rubber. But dont come to me when your tire falls off lol.

i did my friends wheels and i thought it would hurt the tires, but it didnt.

Ive used engine enamel paint by duplicolor on my wheels with no problems, except the one time i had to use a large socket, it scraped paint from around the holes, but what do you expect for $5?

They were scraped while mounting and didnt flake, just a black streak around one side

Which paint are you referring to?

Duplicolor wheel paint is no good? How many cans would you need?

3 cans of paint is enough, and 1 primer. i used 1 cans of clear coat also. it gives a little glossy finish. and is easier to get the dirt off when you clean it.

So...

1 primer x 4
3 paint x 4
1 clear coat x 4

total: 20 cans

I see how it gets up to $100.

Ok, Kyle... when I get my act together I'll hit you up when I need em sandblasted. Thanks for the offer.

You'll ONLY need total of 5 cans for 4 wheels!

Have you checked out any body shops? Ask the guy who works there... NOT the boss. My friend from the body shop (he's the boss) who painted my wheels said he would charge 200 bucks. They'd want the tires to be removed. They'd do it if they are slow.
