The Centurions

Woah, blast from the past. I was walking through the showroom and one of the TVs is showing The Centurions. Anyone else remember this cartoon? I used to love it when I was a wee lad.

Yep, definitely remember this. The action figures were basically like GI Joe's + Legos, because you could add all that armor onto them.

I personally liked this cartoon better though....

I picked up the entire series on dvd at http://www.imissmycartoon.com/index.html

The quality is average. Great cartoon, my favorite was Max Ray the ocean specialist guy in the green suit.

For those of us who grew up in the 80's-early 90's we definitely had the best cartoons.

visionaries... knights of the magical light.
I love this show. my fav was the guy with the filot (not sure of the spelling) but hes the character what used the same voice as the starscream.

favorite lines from visionaries
"the arrows turn, the swords rebel, let nothing pierce this mortal shell.
"by what creeps and crawls and what does not, let all before me recede and rott"
lol good times

Chris Latta. Not only did he do the voice of Starscream and Darkstorm (from Visionaries), he was also Cobra Commander - straight talent.

The only thing good about " the boy who could fly" were the GI joes Fred Savage was playing with...oh, and the GI joe big wheel he was rolling!
I actually have a few of the Centurions figures here at the house, but back then, there was way too much comp. for toys. I mean you had Starwars,
GI joe, He-man, Thundercats, Transformers, Mask, I really never got into them much, which is why I still have a few around...I only wish I still had my "romper stomper 4x4's" those were awesome!

I miss the Centurions... didnt stay around long like the other 80s staple cartoons but still...

Visionaries. Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors. Inhumanoids. the one with the guys that had backpacks that shot ropes they zip lined everywhere... forgot the title but they fell into that same category, cuz the backpacks had lasers & some **** on there...
