awww, weak! Sucks to hear man, but you learned your lesson and didnt hurt anyone.

Is it a tradition to go to GST after you wreck your car? You should have seen Mike's face when I rolled up in my STi after it was raped by that dodge ram (scraped the side of my car).

I think so lol. 3 days after I trashed my bumper I rolled down there with it duct taped together I actually lost the bottom piece of the fender liner about 2 hours into the trip (I should have cut it off)...but after that the duct tape held. Now I got all fancy and used some zip ties to hold the bumper together

GST is there for all of us it seems in good and bad times, we are all lucky they are around.

Damage report so far.

A-arms (had to buy two but only needed one but got a good deal)

Camber plates (have to buy two but getting a good deal)

2 Front tires (from driving home 250miles with the top of the strut moving in the camber plate)

Fender+paint

Headlight and $160 HID bulb

May or may not still need the steering rack (I think the steering issue was from the top of the strut moving back and forth while turning).

Going to say screw the minor damage to the front bumper for now.

This is getting expensive and my hands look like hamburger I like to learn the HARD way.

Good job you can swing a spanner Jez, it would cost most of us twice as much.

Yeah if I took it to the dealer it would have run I would guess around 6k with the labor. Looks about 2k to me swingin my spanner Plus at least this way I know it was done right and nothing was skipped or hidden. I am really lucky I got the prices that I have so far on parts, this suby community is awesome.

Hey, I found that other front strut...hanging in my garage lol.

I had mistaken it for a rear because I had put a rear tophat on it for some reason haha. Hit me up after 6.

I thought it was funny I had the front and the rear but we couldn't find the others. Thanks for let me borrowing them back while I send my coils for a rebuild. You always come through for a homie Adam.

The light and the fender and bumper should be here Weds if not Friday. Then I have to bake the light and clear it, cut the fender for the blinker for the jdm sidemarker and roll it before I send it off for paint.

Also I got the WRX bumper and not the STi, trying to finish my WRX exterior/interior conversion. Of course I have to cut the opening for the FMIC before I send it off for paint.

Soon come my compressor and I will be our painter for when we fug up. Sleepy time! Car is parked in a garage and I will put in the front stockers until the coils are rebuilt and the new DMS Camber Plates come in. BTW I have to give props to Drummond Motorsports for hooking me up on a killer price for replacements since I had the old cast camber plates (first run) and now they are billet.

Not too long and this car is will better than it was before the accident. I love that the insurance paid for my labor. Go Allied!
