Exclamation Cell Phone Help! Network Authentication Failed error when sending pics

Hello,

I've been using a Samsung phone (just a mid level normal phone) through verizon.

I used to be able to take pics and send them to people but every time I try to send pics now I get an error as it's sending which says "Network Authentication Failed" when trying to send the picture.

Does anyone know why this would happen? My niece (2 years old) got ahold of it and was playing with it so maybe she messed up the settings? Ive tried going through the settings and finding the problem but I can't seem to find anything wrong.

I know we have a ton of cell phone experts here, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just an FYI, everything else on the phone works wonderfully.

Yeah, I actually saw that same exact page prior to creating the thread but that doesn't really explain anything. I've sent hundreds of pictures from my phone while sitting on my couch with no problems, but since yesterday I've been getting that error... Even if I'm sending from the same location as I've sucessfully sent before.

Actually, I've tried in multiple areas including random spots when I'm out an about... I've tried about 20 times (I tried different spots after reading that link)

Is there a setting that could cause this? Do you really think it's the network like the link says? Why would it change all of the sudden when it's been fine for years.

Got me man, maybe it has something to do with this:

You could call customer support, explain what's happening, see what they have to say about it. Likely the step they reference on that link is the first step in troubleshooting the issue from their end.

Good luck!

My phone did this the day I bought my new car and was pissed I couldn't send a pic of it out. I had to reset the phone in order for it to work again. Thankfully I don't have to worry about contacts and such cus my phone syncs to Google. If your phone doesn't back up contacts or pics make sure you back them up of you will lose them all.

Ive tried rebooting as well as the *228 options... Still no go.

I'll go by the verizon store when I'm at the grocery store tomorrow.
