If I were on a vf-39 I wouldn't run catless...but other than that I would say go for it if you'd like. Catless is a bit more raspy and you will definitely smell - catted is a little better for stealthyness imo. I have a titek 150 cell catted DP and it sounds great / makes me awesome power.

1. It's obvious when you are running catless, whether I'm driving behind a suby or non-suby I can tell the catless smell right off the bat and if a cop smells it thats no bueno.

2. Emissions, I still manage to pass smog with a full 3'' tbe running a high flow cat on my tuned map, less work swapping out dp's for smog = good.

3. My muffler is like 1cm away from my bumper and didn't feel like turning my bumper black just for a few whp.

If we had no emissions laws here and cops didn't care I'd throw on a catless dp for sure though. Trust me you do NOT want to get stuck with a gross polluter ticket, wayy more than what the dp will cost you.
Eh I was thinking about staying catted when I first got my car, but then said fuuuuck it! I don't notice the smell anymore really, no one really comments on it, cops don't notice me (especially since I'm the old body style) I've driven alllll around the bay and never had an issue with police, my car looks like stock so eh. Thankfully I have a shorty stromung DP and a stromung 3rd cat eliminator so I can easily swap in a cat if I need to in order to pass smog.

Stromung & Scooby sport are the best IMO. I didn't like the helix/titek designs since I prefer a "shorty DP" which allows me to remove the cat and put in a straight pipe or put the cat back in for smog. Also I hate shiny blingy dp's since they draw attention. If you wish to buy stromung parts contact Noah @ LIC Motorsports (he's an authorised dealer )

I am running a full Catless TBE. (aka DP and Cat back)

I do not notice any smells or anything which would say "he is catless". Regardless of that, the car is loud just like any other suby with exhaust, well depending on the exhaust you have.

Good Luck!

Also being an 07 owner, I recomend getting a catted because of the potential issues. Your car will most likely boost spike too the point where you get a cel. Most of the people here are just blabbering out "go catless ftw!" but don't know about the 07s. Do some more research IMO before you make a bad, expensive mistake.

lol all my friend's car are catless, evo, s2k, 350z, is300 and i admit that i hate to drive behind them because of the smells haha. but hey deal with it. no big deal.

cop wont just bust you for DP, if they feel like pulling you over, they can just pull you over for the cat-back so that doesnt matter if you are catted or non catted at the end its a ticket.

I was reading about the 07s the other day and how it was mentioned they have an issue with catless systems and causing spikes/overboosting.

Here's a bulliten that Cobb released...read it for some good info.

I think this is the best advice so far because it is based on FACTS.

Ty

I stumbled across it the other day when I was bored and reading stuff on Cobb's tech section. Pretty solid info too.
