ive had my encounter with an srt 4 back when i had my wrx. i was waiting at a stop light waiting for it to turn green and i hear this car not knowing what it was and what do you know, it was an srt- 4 revving his engine. seriously sounded like it was about to break. light turns green and of course he peels out in front of others and myself.

i still have yet to encounter another srt and when i do, ill roll down my rear windows. been wanting to do it for the longest time but never see them on the road. lol

 

told you I foresaw it coming back!

There's this fat white chick who rev'd at me with her SRT4, when I was leaving my work. She lives in the trailor park across from my work =*(

My car just has wheels and a roof rack for gods sake.

 

Not too long ago a Mc********* pulled up on me on 101N while I was in the slow lane. As predictable as it was, he reved and popped and blew fireballs out his exhaust for a good minute. I had my cruise control on 65 the whole time lol knowing that 101 is NOT the place for shenanigans like that (especially when that was back when there was a chp blacked out in the dark around every corner with radar on). Once he finally made his point clear that he had an uber-cool fireball shooting srt-4, he took off screaming down the freeway out of sight.

Guess what I saw 3 minutes later...

I had a srt4 fly by me when i was walking into safeway in the parking lot! I wasn't even in my car for ****s sake! But oh did he have a mighty BOV so mighty!

Yeah we have one guy here in Santa Rosa, sounds just like the one you described. He literally MAKES SURE his bov goes off in any gear, and ANY time he is giving any throttle input. It's the most annoying thing ever to hear a bov going off 6 times driving only 40ft from one stoplight to the next, in a 35mph city street. I mean I have a fully built setup, and I am always trying NOT to make any noise when shifting, even with a TiAL 44 EWG and TiAL bov. It's not easy trying to make very little venting noise, but I try lol. The less attention the better imo.

 

Just ran up on this but I think I have come across more douche srt4 owners in sonoma county then all other makes combined. Had a red one try and play fast and furious with me on 101.. Thought he was a real bad *** in his ugly bucket. I mean I'm a big kid and don't always make the best of choices, but far from the ricer this clown is that's for sure.

A neon, that was trying to look like an srt4, rolled up next to me yesterday in fort bragg on main street and was blowing by me and slowing down trying to get me to race again and again it was hilarious. It made me laughing so hard i thought i was going crash, i seriously could not stop laughing. When he noticed i was laughing he started scratching his neck and made a right turn.... What made it better was my friend was in my car and he went to high school with the guy causing my friend to be very embarrassed :P.

Funny that this thread got revived. I had my first encounter with an SRT4 yesterday. I was driving in berkeley hills when suddenly this SRT4 pulls up behind me like there's no tomorrow. The road itself was pretty dead(even on a wednesday afternoon), no cars. He tries to cut me off on a 2 lane road(1 lane for each traffic direction).He cuts into the opposite traffic lane and tries to pass me and cut me off. I speed up, he isn't able to pass me and has to go back behind me. He repeats this 3 times, all 3 times he ends up behind me. lol
