I guess ill try the ikea cutting boards first and see how they turn out. I was researching on the RA basics and classics and seemed like a lot of people usually ended up upgrading to the UR's.

yeah i just like having something nobody else has. My $200 RA skidplate is nice tho. Thats where i can see paying for quality. Not that my 1/8" rubber flaps will die anytime soon.
