That's freakishly low.
I'll agree though... we'll call it "average" mileage. Or low side of average.
But you're also thinking about it in terms of a 2006... but in reality it's a 2005. Like my car is a 2004 but I bought it in august of 2003.
20k-50k on 2004 cars is freakishly low. Those are out there but they're not the norm. And that mileage actually adds to the cost. 115k on an 06 just is what it is. No adds no minus.
Low miles are subjective to a point.
100k on a honda civic is just breaking in. 100k on a bmw is the end of the road. LOL!

I'd agree.
Approaching 70k on my 05, doesn't seem low to me haha.

You know honestly, it doesn't do you any good to continue to post a failed situation. Bottom line is that Capitol did tell you to go screw yourself. With that in mind, you can write a whole essay to them explaining how you were mistreated, etc. The point is your car is not fixed and won't be fixed if YOU don't do anything about it. So instead of complaining and saying this and that....just buy the parts and do the work yourself. 2 hours tops, if you are taking your time. There are guides on i-club, scoobymods, Nasioc. You just gotta search.

If that car was purchased in 2005 it's now pushing 8 years old.
115 divided by 7.5 is 15.33.
So that car has averaged about 15k miles per year of ownership. In the state of california and the bay area in general that IS low miles. Not to mention that these cars have shown a nack for running for over 250,000 miles when taken care of...
Take for example my 2004... 2 years older... 100,000 miles more. And my car sat for several months while I was recovering from knee surgery and gets driven much less now than it used to be. If I was still using it like I was a few years ago it would have 275k on it easy.
As long as the maintenance has been done, there's a warranty and the price is right... I'd buy it. Now if you're looking for a newer low mileage car you'll obviously be looking at a higher price bracket...
