Thanks, but I was just saying they didn't have their computers up yet to get parts and stuff. I just use subarugenuineparts or another online subaru catalog to get part numbers.

Just offering to help. I've got all the Subaru catalogs at my disposal. Sort of makes more sense than hoping their online numbers are updated.

Strange that their computers aren't up yet, but the rep being out of town might explain that.

Capitol, if you're reading... you know how to get ahold of me if you have any questions.

Ciao.

Let me know when you want to pick it up. I'll be up at the Historics at Sears Point this weekend. I'll be free afterwork next week, or PM me your address so I can mail it to you. Whatever works for you.

It's the Wine Country Classic Vintage Car Races event this weekend. I am only going as a spectator. I'm still saving up for that Lotus Elan S2...

Beware of them. They have the same owner as Alamden Mazda, which I bought a Mazda 3 from, with my cousin in Feb 2007. We bought the car on a weekend, and the sales manager said the secondary remote/key were locked in the admin office, but the personnel had already left for the day. So he said he would call us back on Monday when he had access to the key. Of course, he didn't call us, and after 3 months of contact between my cousin and him, my cousin still does not have his secondary remote/key.

Granted, my cousin is not the most assertive type in handling these issues, so I tried to do it for him since 2 weeks ago. I know. I should have done it right after he bought the car, but who knew.

Basically their stories were they'd look into it and call me back, then no call... and later told me to call another higher sales manger, and of course they guy said he'd look into it and call back, and ends up with no calls.

If I don't get it this week, I will be contacting Mazda customer service and hopefully solve it through them.

Bottom line is, I bought my WRX from Stevens Creek, and my experience was light years better than Almaden Mazda.

I would not bring my WRX in even if they offer a FREE oil change. Who knows whether they hire the same type of staff in the service department.

Well, after I bought two 07 STI's at Steven's Creek Subaru for $32.4K, they treat me like royalty there.

I went in there during lunch today and introduced myself to the general manager. He seemed like an okay guy. He took me to the parts department and introduced me to the parts rep and also to the service department for introductions with the service rep. They all seemed eager to help. I made an appointment for this Wednesday morning; I will report back on that.

had a weird smell coming from under the hood everytime I stopped a t a light, brought the car in, they found that the differetial fluid dipstick was messed up, and that fluid was dripping when hot, causing the smell. they ordered a new dipstick, cost $17, and didn't charge for diagnostic. seemed very cool and eager to earn my business. I liked them much better than carlen and stevens crik.

I just dropped my Sti there for its regular oil change and they seem pretty good and excited. They seem to know about the negative stuff from Stevens Creek and are trying to do the opposite. The service guy named Jesse said that the owner wants to meet everyone knew that comes in.
They showed me this New Forrester with some STI mods and it looked sweet. They gave me a ride to work. So far so good.
