Interesting. I'll have to check them out for myself. I was thinking of picking up a Sony NEX-5 as a fun little portable camera but this thing looks even better.

Been following their work for a while. I think I might actually still have one reserved, which I probably won't be purchasing. Still really cool tech. It's limited, obviously... still impressive.

the resolution on that is super low and i believe the software is Mac compatible only.

Saw this a few months ago. Awesome technology. And don't worry about resolution, that will increase easily.

also lack of DOF, fixed aperture hella CA!
Plus you have to upload your stuff on their site and have them host it. Not sure if that's changed
I doubt this will change DSLR's. At least for now.

Now that Organic and Hybrid viewfinders.. sexy time

Dude, you guys are completely missing the point. It's not the camera that's incredible, it's the tech behind it. Imagine in 10 years.


Remember the first digital camera? I'm sure not many people were satisfied, not only because of the very low resolution but because of compatibility problems, and back then the web was still very new, let alone posting pics to the web.

i read about the technology almost 4 years ago.
