Thought you guys might be interested in this... We had the pleasure to do a baseline on a 2011 STI yesterday. The car is bone stock, so we did a handful of pulls with the stock ROM, then loaded the Cobb Stage 1 ACN map and did a couple more pulls. The stock map is one of the worst I've seen to date!! Its all over the place and makes very little power. The Cobb map ran much better overall with a much smoother powerband. The customer is waiting to put on some parts to get a custom tune done.
Here are the graphs:
The first two pulls are bone stock, the last two are with the Cobb Stage 1 ACN map.
Thanks

My stock tune was worse then that one, It died out at 4,000RPM and then it started to pull again from 4,500 to 5,500 then it started to go down hill from there, it sucked worse then my 2009 STi. After flashing it, it pulled alot smoother.

Does anyone feel like w/ the 2011 WRX there is substantial body roll? Either that, or the seat's bolsters aren't spaced close enough to hold me (screw being azn). I'm having trouble deciding between a TBE ... or suspension upgrades (coilovers).

That said I've done front and rear sways and a host of bushings. Kartboy shifter as well. Cat-back exhaust. That's it right now. Brakes and more chassis stuff to come. The sways make a huge improvement.

The seats are terrible. Otherwise the car isn't that bad. I've yet to find a way to brace myself that isn't totally weird. The bolsters shouldn't be allowed to be called bolsters, they're that bad. Sure, the seats look good (even though they're a bit pretentious with the WRX sewn in) but they hold like crap. I wish there was a good airbagged alternative, but there isn't at the moment.

Seeing as how the 2011 sti is suppose to have the best ride yet, and the worst tuning. Obviously he should get the tbe/tune so his car stays safe. Not too mention a lot more bang for the buck. Coilovers=horrible ride 90% of the time. The suspension is already good.
