Its always good be prepared in Cali. Buying some water and a lot of canned food today...maybe some beer.

Where was this guy a week ago?. . .and if hes so good why was his 'last big prediction' in the 80's?

We haven't had much of an earthquake around here since '89, maybe hes just a local :P

It helps to remember that what is happening in Japan is more a result of the tsunami than the actual earthquake, and we're pretty tsunami protected here in the bay (SJ Mercury ran a story on it yesterday). I still wouldn't want to be on an infill area in SF though, I work right around the cutoff line downtown and liquification would be my number one worry. That and the potential for a very long walk home.

Hmm, anyone reading the book of Revelations?

If not an earthquake, a cloud of nuclear radiation is going to kill everyone on the west coast:

I went to school with Jim Berkland's son, and I can tell you that before the 89 quake, he made his prediction he got fired for scaring the public.

What a funny thing I will never forget about Jim was, when he was over at my house and while he was heading out of my house, he was so busy listening to his walk man, so he opens my coat closet, and walked in it thinking it was the front door My bro and I just started LOL.
