that road is tight. if you go though, only go late at night. too many cars during the day. its a one lane road with lots and lots of blind corners. no headlights to see coming up during the day makes it very dangerous.
2 ways to get there.
south end is off 680 in san jose at the calaveras exit. go for a few miles then you turn left (not sure on how well marked it is)
north end is off 680 in sunol. get off at the calveras rd exit (niles canyon exit) and head east, you are on the road. it starts out with some long two-lane sweepers (50mph speed limit) then drops down to the one lane (25mph i think) for another 10 or so miles.
very very fun road. i will only drive it at night though

Ok I know where it is now, never been too far on it, but does get very tight after you pass the turn off for the Sunol Regional park(whatever the name of the place is) coming from 84.
If you decide to go I might be able to go, since Ill be in down in Livermore to get my windows tinted.

And if you do go to Marsh Road. WALK IT! well if you go at night. Don't drive it. Place has no lights at all. The moon don't even provide any lights and you can't even see Milpitas from up there.
Going there could be fun though. You see cars pulled over on the side of the road and high schoolers getting it on there.
