MY dumb *** listed the full sale price when I went to register my car for the first time last year. They said I owe them $996. I came back two hours later with the contents of my piggy bank in a plastic bag and made the lady at the counter count it all by hand. Turned out it was only around $230, so I wrote a check for the rest. Revenge is sweet.

Dawn had to go to the DMV yesterday. We lost her paperwork and so we couldn't register it online. She was one day late, but paid $357. I think it was the right amount, I don't think they tacked on a late fee. But I didn't look at the paper so I don't know for sure.
