bye bye arenas... hello speedy...
as reported earlier, the warriors cant match the bullet's offer for arenas.
st jean went ahead and signed "speedy" claxon to be the warriors starting point guard for the 03-04 season...
go warriors!!!!!
hopefully this person wont be as whiney as arenas, who refused to shoot for 3 quarters during one game.

Go warriors! Arenas was a very good player and will be missed at least by me. My friend and I had the idea of holding a candle light vigil at the arena in memorial of the warriors playoff hopes before the claxton deal went through. Hopefully all will turn out okay for the warriors and for gilbert. Now what the hell are the gonna do about the logjam at 2, a crappy gm, long pricey contracts, and fortson. Oh and they should just kill dampier or something. bwahah jk.

but i'm sure that happens to every ball club.
i still blame the warriors for this... if they didn't have their money sank on stupid players like dampier and sura they could have afforded a true future superstar...
oh well.
after blunders after blunders after blunder i can't believe that guy still have a job.
the only reassuring I have is the fact the we actually have a good coach.
i'll rather have a very well coached team that to see a bunch of superstars play like scrubs on a court!
PEACE!

anyways, in arenas' case, i BELIEVE it is the other way around. the warriors made him into a good player.
the bullets will ruin him...

No need to google, Parrish was good but I don't think he was good enough to be one of the 50 greatest. Don't you think? He wouldn't be as effective w/o McHale and Bird...

And I think Joe Barely Cares was pretty good. At least that one year (I believe it was the yr 87 when Sleepy Floyd, Pervis short & and him) when they snuck up from behind to beat the Jazz (1st round playoffs) down 0-2 to win 3-2 and eventually lose to the Lakers in 5...

Oh and just to stay within the subject, I think Claxton is pretty decent. Very quick off the dribble, can stick the "J" but ,unfortunately, does not like to play much "D". He reminds me of Lil Earl Boykins.

he blows at three's. St. Jean sucks so much as a GM. I heard musselman wanted him to do some trades during the season to clear cap but st. jean didn't hink arenas would command much money. another bone head personel move to add to the long list.

parrish was traded in 1980 (per the link).
as for D... we'll see. all i care is a point guard that has more APG than PPG, which arenas had.
that is the sign of a true PG - which KIDD is. his stats prove it. i'm still hoping KIDD would wise up and forget trying to get a title in the east.
FWIW, JB carroll was the sign that the warriors would be doomed for making stupid *** moves like that:
* richmond for that other journeyman, what-his-face. he refused to play for the kings, but eventually did... ruined TMC...
* the webber mess and the 3 first round picks. just glad they were able to those picks back.
* glad about the jamison/carter trade. carter = injury prone. jamison = workhorse of the team.
* 1st round flubs: fuller, that dude in jail, oh man i can go on...
but no need to rehash the past. the future is here. cant wait til the season starts...

And as far as the Parrish trade, I know all about that. I was just stating the fact that he was OVERRATED BIGTIME...but that's just me, YA HERD!!!
