Thumbs down broken bone blues

being stuck in bed for up to 4 weeks sucks soooooo much! i cant even pee without help. i was in an accident on my bike, fell, broke both bones in my left forearm, open fracture where the bones were sticking out of the skin. also broke my left ankle which means that im totally screwed. in about 4 weeks i should be able to drive one handed, but for now, i kinda just wish i was dead.

Even after your ankle heals, you are going need to physical therapy. I think I ended up having 6 months of PT after my fibula/tibia break

Seriously every other thread, besides about guns, is you gettin' hurt. Lucky to have all limbs and a normal brain still intact.

pain killers. get off them asap. look for more homepathic stuff. ice, lots of ice. on the cast, or whatever you have on the broken bones. go get a ton of stretch wrap and wrap yourself in ice. or frozen peas.

and sleep. alot.

Have you ever wondered if someone you pissed off in grade school has made a voodoo doll of you?

If Homer Simpson heard about all of your injuries he'd say "At least I'm not that guy".

Good luck dude!
