No, this was no random kid... He taunted the poor tiger... and there's a reason the tiger went after his two friend which were far away in the cafeteria.... The tiger smelled them and attacked them, didn't attack anyone else.

ya it was pretty much confirmed the kids shoe was found all bloody in the tigers moat thingy and the other two kids (friends of the one who was killed) were mauled at a cafeteria which was not even close to the tigers pit

no it wasnt confirmed at all, its more speculation on the part of the media. Typical of the newspapers to blame the victim. fact is the investigation is ongoing. Fact is that tiger is a wild animal, it didnt need any instigation last year when it reached through its cage and mauled a zookeeper, i dont think it needed any instigation this year either! anyways its dead now so it cant kill anyone else.

^^^ Seriously, wtf is up with that? No surveillance cameras anywhere in the freakin zoo!? I'm sure the kid and his friends thought it would be "cool" to **** off a tiger, which was during closing time, so not many people were around and not many workers to keep an eye. I feel bad that the kid died, he should have been injured, but I'm mainly sad about that tiger, so rare and the tiger did what any tiger would do if it was locked like that while having to deal with stupid kids that taunt it all day.

this just in....the morons who run the zoo just admitted the moat wall in the tiger exhibit is 4 feet shorter than the national standard for safety, which is 8 feet shorter than what the zoo originally said it was! and add to the fact that the tiger's claws show signs of stress and wear, indicating it could have climbed out. And there is no proof whatsoever that the shoe found in the moat is the same shoe of the victim. who knows how it got there, couldve been thrown by someone else besides the vicitms. all we got here is speculation.
