There is actually a new study that my boss (who has Type II diabetes) told me (who has Type I diabetes) about that shows a correlation between too much protein and Type II diabetes. I said "That's ok, thats the one condition I can't get " but perhaps it's something you should look into

BTW, your body can only digest about 35-40g of protein at a time. So if you're eating 80g of protein per sitting, 50% of that is going to waste...

Yeah, I actually heard between 25-30 grams but I am sure its a finite amount far less than 300 grams.
