3 days without water.
3 weeks without food.
however you have a back up oxygen system in the body called the hypoxic system that give the body an ability to survive for an extended period of time, granted the blood is flowing to vital organs. Other variables included of course...
also, kind of looks like cerebral spinal fluid = brain damage.

Ive seen fights much worse from Russian videos and one in RL at the pub close to my house (2 vs the entire bar lol) but this was was special because of the length of choke and his friend saying kill him the entire time.

If the kid being choked was cognizant of the fact that the other guy had his feet crossed, he could've easily broke his ankles and turned the entire fight around.
That would've been a pretty cool and completely unexpected outcome.

I thought the 3min thing was for death. Brain damage can happen a lot sooner and depends on how tight the choke is. It really seemed like the dumbass held a full on choke for 30secs.
