I thought the 3min thing was for death. Brain damage can happen a lot sooner and depends on how tight the choke is. It really seemed like the dumbass held a full on choke for 30secs.

Ive seen fights much worse from Russian videos and one in RL at the pub close to my house (2 vs the entire bar lol) but this was was special because of the length of choke and his friend saying kill him the entire time.

You have about 5 minutes worth of oxygen supply in your system before brain damage begins.

If the kid being choked was cognizant of the fact that the other guy had his feet crossed, he could've easily broke his ankles and turned the entire fight around.

That would've been a pretty cool and completely unexpected outcome.
