Fixed, it's 3minutes.
3s.

3 min without oxygen.
3 days without water.
3 weeks without food.

however you have a back up oxygen system in the body called the hypoxic system that give the body an ability to survive for an extended period of time, granted the blood is flowing to vital organs. Other variables included of course...

also, kind of looks like cerebral spinal fluid = brain damage.

That was what, 20 or 30 seconds in the choke? Far from the three minutes needed for brain damage methinks.

Yeah, I think that punk is gonna be fine. The choke was long enough to put him to sleep but not long enough to kill him or do permanent damage (probably). Him flailing around afterwards looks like someone who's been ko'd (concussion syndrom). It's true that the video provides proof of attempted murder. Kids these days can be retarded.

I was jumped once because I put myself in a bad situation with the wrong crowd. I could have easily died that night, but I didn't blame them. I was young and arrogant and thought I was invincible. I needed to be taught a lesson... maybe this kid did to?

Same here. Unfortunately for me and for most kids that age you don't learn anything until its too late. Revenge and anger come to easy. And these days so does a trigger.

For me back in the day there was pride to taking it like a man and handling your own. Now a days its more a dog pack mentality and a "shoot em later" deal. No one squares off anymore and even rarely is there respect in defeat.

I became good friends with the first dude that knocked me out and the. 2nd and 3rd I ever knocked out.

Indeed, happens when someone's choked out, too. I was officiating a judo match a few weeks ago, and some white belt got choked out by another white belt (uke should've tapped but was too gung ho to do so). Ref called the match when uke stopped resisting; uke stayed face down on the mat after tori let go and a few of us thought he was just throwing a hissy fit, but then we saw his legs start twitching (like a crazy legs dance heh) and we knew he got choked out.
