Boy's and Girl's...we have a new racetrack
not sure if anyone heard about this yet...could be old news, and sorry if it is, but looks to me like we will have another new racetrack about an hour away from us soon!

this place is going to be amazing...they will be hosting all kinds of car events from off roading to oval tracks etc etc etc...damn i cant wait til it is complete

So far the county has not even approved it, and the owners shut us out of rallycrossing at Altamont, I won't be very enthused until I see it happen...

It would be nice to have another racetrack out here... I much prefer the drive to Merced over the one to Thunderhill. T-hill is way out north. Merced is still reasonably close.

Nobody hold their breathe over this. It is still just in the planning stages.
They just turned in a draft EIR back in November. It will be at least a couple years before the final EIR gets approved, if that quick. Depends on how many people want to file lawsuits and whatnot to delay it. Then design will start a while after that. A few years later it will go to construction. You get the picture?

yeah, every few months someone "discovers" this project and posts it here. This has been in the planning stages for a long long long time, and I'll be surprised if it ever actually built.
