DIng DIng...

And jewpac speaks the truth.... Everyone here should know that people make mistakes.... He did his time.... and I bet after the time he spent in prison has learned his lesson. ALso, he is probably going to do a lot to get a good name back.... I bet you anything he is going to donate a bunch of money to Dog/ animal related associations. Just wait and see. I just hope the downtime hasn't messed with his skills on the field...

Go VICK!

So do you think that anyone who goes to prison should not be allowed to work when they get out? How will they earn money to feed, clothe and put a roof over their heads? Without the ability to earn an honest living, they will go back to a life of crime or they will become one of the many homeless people you see living on the streets. Either way they become the tax payers problem.
Have you ever worked in the Criminal Justice system and/or been to prison?

well he won't be donating any money for a long time since he is in debt x10 but he has/will do free appearances for animal associations since he has to rather he wants to or not.

And he will not be an Oakland Raider I know it seems like a perfect fit but he will not be a Raider but he very well could become a 49ner since that would make some sense for them since they don't really have a QB and don't have anyone with the same type of athletic ability he had when he was in the league.

i just had to quote it again, because its right on the button...

i'm not saying the time he served pays for what he did, i love dogs, but just as quoted, if he was a mediocre player there would not really be any issue here, but you have to admit, his game is above average and in the end, teams will go for the opportunity

The 49ers already said no. Besides we wouldn't want Vick anyway.

Hill is going to win out the starting position - Smith is garbage. Always has been, always will be.

Not saying I would turn it down if we got Vick but I don't think Singletary even wants to deal with a 1/10000 of the drama.

Hopefully we can develop Hill into a great QB...or get Tebow

Without direct knowledge you never will.

I only know from 10 years of service to criminal justice special populations, not something you can learn via a Google/Wikipedia search. But hey don't fret...maybe mom N dad can regale with stories over milk N' cookies sometime. HaHa.

Look people; Vick didnt commit a victimless/white collar crime. He knowingly and willfully financed/organized/participated in illegal actitivies that revolved around & profiting from brutalizing innocent animals. Thats not opinon, its judiciary fact. He got out early because he rolled over on everyone else & snitched them out.

Smith got put in a really bad situation. Hill will start. But there is nothing I'd love to see more then Smith blow up to be a franchise qb like he was suppose to be. Why would we want Vick? When I think Vick I think fumbles. Hill is old, he isn't the future. The guys got heart and can play, but he isn't the answer. On a side note I'm more pissed off at Crabtree for not telling his agent to get his contract figured out. WOOO ITS ALMOST FOOTBALL SEASON GO NINERS!

Tdub, I'm with you. I think Hill will get the job at the beginning, but Smith is the better QB. By the end of the season he will be the starting QB and carry us to the playoffs.

Hill is 29...he's got a few more years on him till he gives out.

I'd love to see Smith blow up too - but at this rate the only way that is going to happen is if he eats a grenade.
