Bomb Scare in downtown SJ
anyone hear about it?
i work 2 blocks away from where the incident took place and getting to work was such a biatch.
just thought id share...

Yeah. I was on the freeway at the time and heard about it on the radio. I thought the cop cars on 680S were going to assist with the bomb threat, but it turns out that they were actually chasing bank robbers.

when i worked for FEMA in 1996, i was there for like 6 months and had 2 bomb threats.
now grant you, back then, FEMA just became a cabinet position and their sole job is to help people in time of crises.
first bomb threat, i was in the bathroom and someone banged on the door and yelled EVACUATE.
a few weeks later, i was on the phone with someone in socal and i had to hangup on them when someone came running screaming evacuate...
that was when region 9 of FEMA was in the presidio...
