boiling noise when brake??

Hey guys, I just got hawk Hp+ installed 2 days ago and playing with brake a lot after that...

Just last night my brake start to squeal pretty bad, i did some spirit driving and on the way home, I hear boiling noise every time I brake and about to come to complete stop.

Is that a brake fluid boiling?? If that is I guess I need to change it for my track day this weekend.

Not sure how you hear boiling noise over your exhaust, but if you really could hear it when you brake, then ya I'd recommend changing it before track day. If it boils at night during spirited driving, it'll boil for sure during heavy use at the track.

Where are you going this weekend?

i got greddy evo 2 so my exhast is not that loud

Is it even possible to hear boiling brake fluid? i'm not sure if it something else. By the way I have ATE super blue, Hp+ and stoptech slotted rotor. fluid was flushed out oct 2009.

And since then 10,000 miles with 2 autocross and 1 track day.

LGT Mark: i'm going infineon with NASA on sunday

Time to pull the wheels off and inspect the brakes. If you can't find anything, a flush is a cheap thing to try.

If you did boil your fluid, I think you would lose some feel in the pedal, and may have increased pedal travel.

Oct 2009 with ATE blue sounds pretty recent, you might just be hearing the grip of your new pads.

I'll be in the city tonight at a friend's place for dinner near the ball park. If you want I could sit with you and try to listen for that noise.

Did you re-use old rotors?
