Thumbs up BMW M5 - 7 spd SMG ?

7 spd SMG only, no manual because BMW thinks owners cant handle a 7 spd 4 gate shifter...

Man... Every body line on the new 5's is just perfect. It's all in the right place, everything flows so smoothly even with the sharp little accents here and there. I'd love to own one of those.

Question though, there is NO manual M5? That can't be. I'm guessing they'll have a manual six speed... I hope so anyway. I'll be the second to last person to ever accept that some sort of new designed auto tranny can cram gears as fast as I can do it myself.

what with the HUGE panel gaps (at least for a BMW)??? The rear bumper & fender?

Looks really apparent from the 1st & 3rd pic.

Chris Bangle still needs to die though.

gl swapping the motor. lol.
i hate the new styling. M5s are my dream car.... well, that means that the old body style will just get cheaper. awsome.

7 spds is not excessive. Having a gear for every speed is awsome.

i think BMW needs to do some body work. it looks like the normal 5 series. I've raced a 545, go whoooooped on. lol. last time i race a 4.5 liter on the highway. lol.

the rims are ugly...
