Something about these engines causes them to gum up really bad. My E46 get oil changes regularly and when I pulled cover off it wasn't too far from that condition.

other automakers need to call out BMW.

They claim all this amazing free service, but they want to change your oil with 20k+ in between.

what can this guy even do? Full block washing and re assembling seems like his only choice??

EDIT: reading comprehension> me, and I have no patience to sift through all that. Pics look like someone literally opened the oil cap and shat booty stew all into the engine.
