Black STI stolen out of Foster City

My car was stolen at my apartment complex off of Hillsdale Blvd. The car is totally stock (black '04 STI) and has dealer plates. If anyone sees or hears anything, I would really appreciate the tip...

Sucks that my first post here has to be of such bad news. Sorry guys The folks at nasioc said there are a lot more bay area people here, so I thought I'd spread the word in case anyone might be able to help.

Thanks in advance...

Wow man, I'm really sorry. If there's one thing worse than the feeling of someone ganking your car it the feeling of someone ganking your brand new car. Good luck and I really hope you find it. Grand theft auto should be a capitol offence.

it's going to be difficult to recognize if it's completely stock.

I work right around there, a little more details.... gold or silver wheels. I highly doubt the car is anywhere near foster city still. I'll bet it in the East bay somewhere.

sorry man, good luck.... if this was me, I'd rather not get the car back.

It's got silver wheels, thanks for reminding me.

I'm actually kind of in a pretty bad spot right now, because it turns out the insurance coverage on the car had terminated before the car was stolen (long story, not gonna get into it), so I'm probably gonna end up eating it on this. The thieves really got me good, I can only hope that they leave whatever they didn't want somewhere where the cops can find it so I can end the misery.

The police said this was the third stolen/broken-into car report they received last night, so someone was pretty busy I guess.

No offense taken. Like I said, it's a pretty long story involving the death of a loved one and a massive miscommunication between me and the insurance company.

I'm still trying to work things out with them right now but I'm making preparations in case things don't work out.

I work right next to city tow, I'll keep my eye on the lot. Not that it is a safe place either. Damn security gaurds a ganking stuff out of cars all the time. Oh BTW did you call SMPD to see if it was towed away?

They must have been a pretty high tech bunch. The '05 has an immoblizer. When you lock it with the key fob it has to be unlocked with the same fob or it won't start.

It could have been towed by the thieves. I heard that a lot of car thieves have been working with tow trucks to retrieve cars thet they have their eye on. It doenst seem as suspicious if your car is being towed away.
