The Big 5's near me don't have ish. I went to two stores and they would only sell me 2 boxes of each caliber as they get shipments on Friday's and usually sell out in 20 minutes or less.

Every online site I just went to is backordered/sold out till later this month and some till August. I was looking for .40/.38 and .45 acp. I just want to go practice, not stock pile for amageddon/zombie/Obamagunbanlaws.com

Big 5 is a rip off for ammo.

Guys, buy your ammo online at sites like www.aimsurplus.com , buy in bulk and go in with your friends so you can save on shipping. You're much better off and you'll save a TON!

I never buy my ammo in stores, and if I do for whatever reason I go to wallmart, much better deals then anywhere else.

So yeah, go online and buy or go to wallmart when they get a shipment of ammo.

Dont say I never gave you anything.

I didn't see any 9mm, .40 or .45 on the site... am I missing something?

Big 5 had 250case of 9mm for like $80

Depends on what they have in stock, its pretty random. But there are many other sites that you can use to get ammo, like cheaper then dirt.com and many others. Aimsurplus is really good for rifle rounds which is what I usually buy from them... I also bought a brick of 5000 rounds of .45ACP a while back for a GREAT deal, it worked out to be like $8 for a box of 50 rounds!

So is ammo expensive now because theyre making less or is it because everyone thinks Obama is going to ban bullets?

1. War
2. China and other countries sucking up brass and copper and increasing prices. that 3 gorges dam is sucking up the worlds copper!
3. Obama threatening to make new laws prohibiting guns and ammo, which is causing people to BUY BUY BUY, and now there's a huge supply and demand issue.

There are a bunch of other reasons as well
