Thumbs up

My dad just bought a Legacy there a week ago and had a good experience. He was referred to Fremont by a salesman at Carlsen.

Duuuuude, it's Unit 91, the moderator on NASIOC. He just moved here to work for SoF. I feel much better going to Subaru of Fremont knowing he's there and representing the Subaru enthusiast community. Too bad he doesn't work in sales or he'd probably be able to hook us up.
Because we have a voice there, I feel more comfortable bringing my car there for work and what not.

Impreza01 - I'll do anything in my power to get you guys deals. Sales/parts/service. We're working on our official vendor status. I don't want to say too much about my job. I know the rules. Don't want to step on Alex's toes.

suby dude! I know you!! Heh. I'll round up a list. Thanks!

Anyhow... cheers, guys! Here's to an exciting new year.

Sorry about your experience at SoF 4S-TURBO. I was there last time and it was pretty good. Especially Ryan gave me a good deal for my parts.

you may be just killing time, but to him, you are all he has for the next 2-3 hours. it's either talking to you, trying to make something out of it, or sit on his *** and not get paid.

and just for reference, you were trying to kill time and just wanted to look around. plenty of buyers who are serious will often tell the salesperson they are just looking.

p.s. a lot of dealership also have a turn based up system. so an unlucky salesperson could run into someone like you, and have to wait for every other salesperson to get a turn at a customer before getting a chance to make a buck.
Most informed post of the thread. As long as the salesperson isn't being a flat out dick, they have a job.... sell cars. Walking onto the lot is a sign that you are interested, no matter what your intentions are of being there. I'm not a car salesman, and for a good reason, because you have to be that go getter way too aggressive type of person to make any money at it.
