beware of Brown Recluse...
Just wanted to share some information about a spider known as brown recluse.
I was bitten by this literally "itsy bitsy spider" that i didn't even know/feel on my left arm. And after a day, i started feeling chills like a regular flu, then the next day, i had this tennis ball size lump, bulging up around 1-2 cm from my arm
Went to the ER. Could even hardly walk and basically, i stayed in the hospital for 6 days with morphine & Vicodine., and had to take home some anti biotics which was conducted thru an IV (PICC LINE) for another 8 days. Such a hassle.
watch out for those small spiders. According to the doctor, probably got bitten when i was sleeping. So have a good practice on shaking your pillows/sheets/beds before going to sleep. and just check your socks/shoes, and try to shake your clothes before wearing them.
i just hope no one would have the same experience...
Share this information to everybody. I used to ignore those spiders knowing they are too small and can not do any harm.
My doctor told me that this is not fatal, but for some kids and some elderly people, it may cause some big problems.

Necrosis... yes i did, but the good part is i got the anti biotics early so i didn't have to go thru any surgery on those hard tissues. I'm taking 2 different kind of anti biotics in the hospital and it did help.
that tennis ball size lump got bigger by the time i woke up the following day, it went up almost to my arm pit and stretched to my wrist. and when it was healing, it turned into a dark colored, (looks like a huge bruise on my left arm).
Harmless looking spider? I could not even see them. Their size is like the tip of a 0.7 lead pen.

And as far as what "google" in telling me. They do not reside in california at all. Not even close. They are mostly on mid states...
I think they should start updating that info.

so i put 2+2 together.....
did the X trick ( where you use your fingernails and press an X into the bite ) and went back to bed....
two days later, i woke up swetaing, and i ached all over, but contributed it to the cold/flu i was already developing. took some dayquil/nyquil, and felt fine.
now, im sick again, but im contributing this one to stress......

ahhh ****! I have few spiders at home but none look like a reclusa. I kill them whenever I see one... I have yet been bitten by a spider and pray that I don't. Not after some of the photos that I have seen!
