HellaDumb posted this before. I think since Subaru owners know they will be denied the warranty, they don't bother.

Yep, that was made pretty clear to me at Carlsen with my last warranteed Subaru. I love Subarus, but I will never ever buy a new one again.

Accept if you get one of the ones with a bad IAC valve.

Why did they deny you warrenty coverage?

No they did not outright deny my warranty coverage however they went to great lengths to NOT take care of my car, and did nothing when data was faked on a SOA oil consumption test on my car. This was discovered BY A TECH in front of me and a service advisor (Howard H.). Also, every time I asked about weird things my car was doing (could have been normal, but I didn't know) it was all attributed to me removing my intake silencer, which I stupidly admitted to them.

While they did not deny my warranty, they gave me the distinct impression that it would be a very difficult 'chess game' to get anything fixed if it did actually break. Their service also inspired me to cash out my SAS extended warranty. If my car were modded, that would have been one thing.. Never turned a bolt on any exhaust or intake piece.

I am going to take my car in for the synchro in first gear. First gear sometimes grinds going in from neutral. =\
