UPS?? Where is it being shipped to? I think you could send it with a grayhound bus, but the reciever will have to pick it up at the station or something. I am not really sure about that method though, just heard about it.

It might be more expensive to have one big box. When I got my Rotas they shipped them in two packages. Two per package.

I'm pretty sure that if you are sending wheels w/ tires you can ship them with out boxes, with like cardboard circles over the front/back. You should call UPS and ask them about this

If it were just the wheels, two boxes two to a box would work well, that how I shipped some rims once, ending up being about $45 through USPS.

The tires I ordered from TireRack.com were not wrapped at all, just tied together with twine in two bundles of 2. I guess you could do the same, if you cleaned them real well. They came FedEx if I remember correctly.

i wouldnt want the wheels to get damaged for the buyer, i'd prefer boxes, when you said $45 was that for 1 box or for 2 boxes?
I got a UPS quote for $38 EACH for a total of $76...
How much do you thing 2 stock WRX wheels with almost new RE-92's would weigh??
I put in 40 lbs...is that 2 much??

You want to properly wrap the tires and rims. don't ship them like this.

Since Zoeb is the general manager at Wheeldude nowadays, I'm pretty sure he has this figured out 8 years later.
