going to work around noon...

those who know cal state hayward, knows the 2 main road to go up there are steep roads.

well apparently, when it rains, people forget how to drive. sure enough, going up CARLOS BEE BLVD (which has a very steep section at 24% incline for about 200 yards) is a massive accident.

anyways, traffic going up is stalled. i suddenly hear tires spinning. i see the panel van in front me creating a smoke cloud on his right rear tire.

i wanted to yell to stop it. there are cops ahead and well... the smoke smells horrible. so i give him space.

but then, a honda to the right lane is doing the same thing. a vehicle to right rear is spinning also...

then i start smiling. i'm still running my RE 070s.

the beauty of AWD... as i slowly crawled up the road.

ya know... i'm a bit surprised that some of them did not suffer from oil starvation with all the oil sitting away from the oil pickup.

 

haha yea I was in that too. I drive my 90 Acura Integra to the school and in the rain it's interesting driving that car in the rain cuz the tires aren't in the best shape. If it's real bad then I drive the sti, but I commute too far to school so it's not worth the wear and tear. Plus people at the school are idiots and can't park. I've had several people back into my car and leave massive door dings on the car as well. More reason that I try and avoid driving the sti lol
