Theres a place outside of Vacaville that has a decent skeet range, the name of it escapes me. I've never shot at chabot but I have a friend that used to shoot CMP there. Never heard any complaints. The Rancho Cordova Shooting Center is wak IMO.

Thumbs up

Los Altos Rod and Gun is where i shoot from now on...I used to go to National Shooting range before Reeds took over..then Target Masters but the facilities are a bit run down... and those places always got too crowded...bump for Los Altos Rod and Gun range.

Theres a good outdoor range right there in Two Rock down the road from the Coast Gaurd base, we past right next to it and stopped our cars on tha least run, I used to go there and it was like $20 for all day. I'd be down to head back out there sometime

It's too bad Los Altos Range is closed on my days off. I was hoping for a scenic Skyline drive and shoot....oh well, Concord will have to do today...

Target Masters

Target Masters allows pistols and shotguns (birdshot) only. I've been to that stevens creek out door range. not sure what its called, maybe its the same as the Los Altos one. Not sure tho.

we should get a drive and shoot meet going on, i gotta break in a gun or two.

Hahha, we went to target masters over the weekend and brought the Benelli M4... we were shooting bird shorts for a while... right before we left, we used some cop issued magnum rounds. Holy crap those things are INSANE! It's like shooting a slug x 2. Needless to say, the guys that worked there ran in and were PISSED (They couldnt prove it was us though... haha). Everyone in the range stopped shooting and was looking at us. Good times.

Target Masters sucks the D. One shot every 3 seconds? Wth is that crap?

That is the cirlce s ranch. It is a jinky range. I believe it is 10$ per person. Best time to go shooting there is in the morning between 9 and 12. The wind kicks up about noon. The other problem is that it can be very foggy in the morning. I love shooting and I love guns. Let's go.

let's have an accuracy contest.

Let's get a pool going at $20 a head & winner takes all. I need to pay some bills anyway.
