Its in Milpitas. People commit suicide there! My brother use to go there. He's not sure if they let you use rifles.

there is no way you're going to be able to shoot rifles at targetmasters --aka the lead zone. i'd hit either Los Altos rod and gun, or Sunnyvale Rod and Gun off of stevens creek. i've been to both, and sunnyvale is a bit of a nicer facility, though i think they have longer rifle lanes at los altos.

an i-club shooting trip could be a hell of a lot of fun, anyone here shoot skeet?

I'd recommend the Metcalf range, used to go shotting there a lot, with a Remington 700, but nowadays I only shoot my friends 22 short rifle there or we go paintballing. It's out by itself, the area is nice and if you get bored you can always go fishing at park-away lakes

There was a range off of Stevens Creek Blvd up by the dam but that was 8-10 years ago, rifle was ok. Also there is (or was) a range in Scotts Valley near granite mountain (not sure of street name) drive on street parallel to freeway, again 8-10 years ago not sure if it is still there, of course I was too lazy to follow the above link too....

i know for a fact they have a 100yrd and 300yrd range for rifle and a 25-50yd for pistol.

It's all outside but very clean... the seats are movable and comfortable and all rifle benches and rests are all poured concrete.

It's worth it to check it out. Im pretty sure there's a paintball center out in the area too.

If you need any advice on shooting etc i'd be happy to help.

I think the rifle range in Scotts Valley is still open. Every time I go to my Grandmas house, I hear gun shots coming from the rock quarry. I forget what the name of the street that runs from HWY 17 to HWY 9 is called, but I think it may be off of that street.

I'm down for an East Bay range, but I'd really like to head down to the one off Skyline in Los Altos, or Laguna Seca or Chabot maybe...
