Thumbs up Bay Area High Octane Gas Stations!

Hey all,

let's put together in this thread all the different locations where high-octane gas is available at the pump.

I went to the Gas Station off the Andrade exit off 680, and it looks like they've renovated it, and I can't tell if they're going to start carrying it again.

I remember there was a '76 station in San Jose that had some, wonder if they still do, and where they're at...

I have an '04 STi, and I want to start mixing some better fuel in it!

TIA,

David

The SJ station you are talking about is on Foxworthy. Don't remember the cross street. It will be in one of the above threads. It is at the pump closest to the corner.

The gas stations that carry high-octane fuel sell 100 octane.

A few gallons of that, the rest 91, and my car drives smooooth.

Thanks guys, and please keep 'em coming!

I had sent an email to 76 for high octane gas and they responded that none was near byt my area (Livermore). they did mentioned one that carried it in containers (not pump) as the closest place but I do not remember if it was like in Brentwood or towards that way.

Man I had heard rumors that the would let 93 octane back to CA but I guess it did not happen.

Oh well.

Talking

why don't you just use tolulene. i read that some members of porsche club of america use it, they love that stuff for their hi-comp motors. finding the right mixture is the key though. i used to use it in my turbo b20 teg ,it loved it. when i boosted the motor sounded as though i was running nos.the motor would get really quiet as it pulled to redline. just a thought..... it's the "T" in "TNT".

There's a 76 on San Antonio just west of 101 in Palo Alto that supposedly has it. I saw it on a receipt after I got gas there, but I never went back to check.

When did you last check? I went there 2 weeks ago and they still had it. It's pump 10 and is easy to miss. About $5.xx a gallon.
