Why are you complaining that a cop gave you a ticket for an illegal part being on your car?
The issue of it being non correctable is easily rectified.
Bring the stock parts with you to court.
When the judge asks you if you've fixed the issue, tell him no, as the ticket indicated that it was a non correctable issue.
Then ask the judge for the case to be dismissed in the interest of justice on the grounds that a citation was issued for an offense that, as being marked non correctable, can not be rectified.
Kinda like a Catch 22.

I'm sorry, but **** HIN and that whole ****ing culture. It's awful, stupid, and you're simply asking to be pulled over.
Why even associate yourself with a culture of street racing, and lets face it, many of go to HIN/HID and NOPI shows are street race punks. Why even put yourself in that situation?
Yes, the hood scoop is stock on a subie, but it's not on most other cars, and that would mean the car is modified. Cops aren't going to know that. They see mods, they dish out the tickets. It's illegal, you risk getting a ticket if you break the law, pretty simple.

i hardly even go out to car meets anymore! let alone a HIN!
thats like going into to a "smoke shop" and walking out with a bong as a cop is watching you, and assuming the cop thinks youre using it for tobacco. They know whats up...be it 420 or street racing.
