baron left cuz mullin wouldnt give him a long term contract. mullin didnt want to sign him to a big deal and then possibly baron goes down with another injury. this way for baron, if he gets injured hes got that $65mil anyways cuz of the long term deal. baron gets 17.8 next year with warriors and say he gets injured, no one else will take him and then thats it for him...
since monta isnt a point guard, cj watson gotta step up, kelenna also gotta do work cuz barnes is gone as well.
my brother said we lookin at carlos arroyo?? anyone hear that?

Well, Monta certainly has the abilities to learn the position. He's their TOP option at PG. I don't see why he wouldn't play that position.

After the Webber fiasco 14 years ago, I'm pretty much used to having my favorite players leave the Warriors. After a while, the hurting just stops. LOL.

from what ive seen, i dont think monta wont be able to score as much bringin the ball up the court himself and he dribbles kinda high at speed, plus the warriors dont really use positions. shooot, captain jack could be the point, he brings the ball up half the time anyway. but as far as when the subs start coming in, when ellis is out or even playin with watson as a 1,2, cj will have to step up to guard point guards cuz monta isnt the best defensive player. ellis has more to do as well to improve there. another thing im praying for is pietrus stays and finally steps up to what he says he is. i read 8 teams had interest in him...

monta doesn't have the playmaking abilities...or isn't as good as the top pgs in the league. he lacks the dribbling and the court vision for passing also. monta is suited more to play 2 like ai. there's a reason why we call him 1man fast break. i have this feeling that putting monta at pg is like experiencing larry hughes to play the point few years back.
warriors just seem to be going after these top players all wrong. they're not making them feel special enough like how the clips did w/ davis and how the wiz are doing w/ arenas. w's seem to be just settling for the next best thing with their cap space.

Baron's knees are questionable anyways. A long term deal wouldn't favor the warriors especially considering Baron's frequent injuries all the time. It would be like paying a guy $13-15 million/year and expect him to play 82 games but in reality, you're probably paying him $13-15 million/year to play only 40-50 games
