I got nothing, but maybe if you win an AcessPORT, they'll give you an Evo version.

Why would a vendor for the yearly Subaru gathering be giving away Evo bits?

I've been giving this some thought, and I'm seriously considering raffling off my 2000 2.5RS for BAM X's mega raffle. The car has a fairly new motor and tranny, though the body is a little beat up with some dents, and the hood needs painting, other then that it runs great.

It would be perfect for someone who wants to turn it into a race car, or even a daily driver so that you don't have to drive your expensive new car around.

Who would be interested in that? I figure each raffle ticket could be like $15 each or something, winner takes the car home as is, all we do is sign over the papers and the car is yours. It comes with a premium sound package and has a bunch of extras including 4 pot brakes and performance suspension.

How cool would that be? You buy a raffle ticket for $15 and win a friggin car!

I'm totally serious about this, it's a matter of either turning it into a track dedicated race car with full cage, tranny and possible motor swap, etc... But it's a money pit that I can't really afford to play with right now which is why raffling the car off sounds like a better idea since I could still make money from it and someone would benefit greatly from it as well.

I dunno, I feel really bad parting with it since it was my first new car and Ive been to hell and back with it so the idea of turning it into a race car (doesn't have to be the fastest race car, just having a track car would be sick) sounds really nice because then I could keep it... But we're trying to buy a house and already have 3 cars as it is so the RS is just taking up space and someone without a subie could really benefit from it and I could use the money. I'd rather raffle it to you guys then sell it to some teenage kid who has no appreciation for it.
