well not that exactly. They want to thin down the competition to 5 cars so it makes it easier to vote i guess.

This is the first step to thinning it down, the 5 final cars will be voted on (in person??) at the meet I think

se0ul, your car is sick! Man, ever since you first posted it I've been in love! If I modded my car like I used to, it'd be very similar to yours, thats for sure. The best form of flattery is imitation, or something like that.

its a shame you're selling it... Why are you selling it again?

se0ul you would have a better response if the bov was closer to the throttle plate.

everytime the throttle plate reopens on the current location of the bov you have to wait for the intercooler and pipes to be refilled with air. to decrease lag you want it closer to the throttle plate so when the bov closes the pipes and intercooler already have pressure going through them.

Since your running a blow through setup the bov should be before the maf anyways but having it closer to the plate will help out alot. personally i would put it right before the blow through tube. so the turbo would only have to charge another foot of pipe before hitting the manifold vs the 6+ft of space right now.

even my previous location (the location you are recommending), the intercooler piping as a whole depressurizes when blown.

lag should have nothing to do with bov location on my car, lag depends on many other factors such as air leaks, turbo spool, etc, bov location not being one of them that i see.

as for response, i can see where you are coming from but from what ive learned about pressure (vs air like a huge fan) it wouldnt really matter where the bov is placed as long as its between the turbo outlet and the throttle body.

all i can say from personal setup experience moving from bov next to the throttle body, vs bov being where it is now (where eq tuning relocated it), the setup now (all other mods the same) is MUCH more responsive than before by far. all was done was a maf relocation, and slapped on bigger headers (which should have given me some lag)

just my few cents from what ive learned and experienced, im not a forced induction engineer though
