Just refreshed my page from earlier, looking to see if Daniel posted his paypal address and it won't come up. What happened?
And whats the status on the paypal address?

Some members were flaming and derailed the thread so one of the mods sent it to thread lock up.
Medic, I really appreciate the fact that you want to help but I would feel really bad accepting your money. You're not the person that stole from us so why should you have to pay?
I didn't know this, but at last year's event Gagan lost around $900!!! Holy crap, that sucks so badly! So that makes 3 years where the organizers have lost money. One year I lost over $400, then gagan lost $900+, and then this year I lost around $350ish. That's hella weak and I'll make sure that it wont ever happen again.
What sucks is as soon as I raise the price I get people complaining and whining and saying that I'm wrong for increasing the price and that I'm making some huge sum of money by throwing this event. God forbid that someone break even or get compensated for their troubles! I don't make money from this event, and if I did, all of it would go to charity. Oh well, can't please everyone, gotta learn to accept that, and by raising the price to like $10 I think we'll do a great job of weeding out the people who complain and whine since they probably wont show up which will benefit us all.
Next year we should aim at raising $5,000! How great would that be? I think we could do it, especially if we double our vendor support (by getting more vendors to support us). The people at Furry Friends were SOOOOOO happy when I told them how much money we raised... They called us heroes and told me to thank each and every person that participated in the raffle (as well as our amazing vendors). That $2k went REALLY far and bought A LOT of food, and thank costco for selling the charity food at their cost, so no mark ups and food at cost which was like donating $3,500-4,000 since the food was discounted so much.
You guys are the best and I hope everyone gets some good karma coming back to them. This was by far our best year dispite the minor negative things that happened. What's most important is that our mission was accomplished and we made a huge difference to help homeless animals! Almost everyone had a great time with the exception of the small 2% of people who never have fun regardless of the event, so I think our 98% aprooval rate was good enough. The vendors also agreed that it was the best event to date.
Next year is going to be EPIC! Especially if we have an Auto-X at the event!
So here's a big thanks to everyone for everything, and thank you medic, your heart is def in the right place but what's done is done and I would feel bad that you would be losing money on top of it all.

if we're deleting all threads that are derailed, negative, worthless... we better be ready to delete a LOT of threads. Like 98% of the BAIC posts.
there was a lot of stupid crap in there and it was pretty pointless but it had some valid stuff in it. You had to know that when you posted that it was gonna go nutty.

I didnt delete anything, and the only threads that are deleted are the ones who are reported and involve people actually fighting back and forth to the point where it no longer belongs on the forums.
Mainly reported threads/posts though. Its not something that happens very often, but its for the greater good.
What's this "SE" thread you guys are talking about? What's "SE" South east?
